Highfield Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling This course is suitable for attendees from land-based or maritime workplace environments. This qualification will introduce learners to moving and handling activities required for those starting work, returning to work or who need specific training in manual handling, as well as being a suitable qualification for refresher training. Highfield Level 2 Food Safety at Sea course is accepted by the MCA (also known as Food Hygiene), which are listed in MIN 689 and are suitable for crew working in the maritime industry where food handling takes place such as superyachts, workboats, cruise ships, ferries and offshore supply vessels. This course meets the requirements of the requirements set out in table A5.3 of Workboat Code 3 and the MCA Sport & Pleasure Code
