The objective of the course is to provide a basic theoretical knowledge and some practical hands on experience of diesel engines and systems. To make the course as practical as possible we use a Volvo and Yanmar engine which we strip down to their component parts and hopefully put back together again.

Basic maintenance and engine care will help ensure that you are not part of this statistic. This course teaches you how your engine works, how to keep it healthy, and how to get it started again in the event of a breakdown.
