The RYA VHF Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with a radio. This includes both fixed and hand held equipment using International channels.

Highfield Level 2 Food Safety at Sea course is accepted by the MCA (also known as Food Hygiene), which are listed in MIN 689 and are suitable for crew working in the maritime industry where food handling takes place such as superyachts, workboats, cruise ships, ferries and offshore supply vessels. This course meets the requirements of the requirements set out in table A5.3 of Workboat Code 3 and the MCA Sport & Pleasure Code

This two-day entry level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

This one day course provides a good mixture of theoretical and practical sessions covering basic first aid and basic life support skills on vessels operating up to 60 miles to sea. Accepted by the RYA and MCA for Commercial Endorsements and the RYA for Instructors.
