An RYA Yachtmaster Certificate of Competence is often the ultimate aim of aspiring skippers. It is a well known, highly respected qualification worldwide, proving your experience and competence as a skipper. We provide 5 tailor-made training days to prepare you for the exam, for which we allow an additional 2x days directly after your training.

This one day course provides a good mixture of theoretical and practical sessions covering basic first aid and basic life support skills on vessels operating up to 60 miles to sea. Accepted by the RYA and MCA for Commercial Endorsements and the RYA for Instructors.

The RYA VHF Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required by law to control the operation of VHF and VHF Digital Selective Calling (DSC) equipment on any British flagged vessel voluntarily fitted with a radio. This includes both fixed and hand held equipment using International channels.
